Like all of the CHANEL Watch Collections, the J12 Marine is carefully
crafted with special attention given to each detail and facet of the
timepiece?s design. Each piece features a sand-blasted, high-tech ceramic
and steel case with engraved decoration.
The steel bezel rotates unidirectionally. It is notched for a graduated
60-minute read and marked by a luminescent marker at 12 o'clock. The
crystal is sapphire with a blue anti-reflective coating on the internal and
external faces.
Water-resistant up to a depth of 300 meters, the black lacquered dial offers luminous visibility even in the depths of the sea. The self-winding, mechanical Swiss movement has a 42-hour power reserve and is capable of giving an hour, minute and second hand reading time and date on the bezel.
For comfort, the matte rubber strap has openings to allow water to pass
through, and the composite material makes the J12 Marine highly resistant
to water, shocks, scratches and ultraviolet rays. The elegant finishing
touches: an ardillon buckle in polished and satin-finish steel, engraved
with CHANEL and a caseback with an engraved decoration celebrating the
J12 Marine.
