The St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow in the famed Swiss ski resort is one of the world’s most fashionable events; but this season it’s set to get even more stylish. Ralph Lauren will sponsor a team this year and serve as Official Outfitter for the tournament, which will be held on the frozen Lake St. Moritz from January 26 through January 29.

Renowned polo player Michael Bickford will captain Team Ralph Lauren and will be joined in the saddle with Ralph Lauren spokesmodel and international polo star Nacho Figueras (above). The likes of BMW and Cartier are also fielding teams. Lauren will design the official shirts to be worn by the four competing teams, all on-site staff and volunteers.

The official Ralph Lauren shirt will be available for purchase in select Ralph Lauren stores in St. Moritz, Gstaad, London, Milan, and Munich, as well as Ralph Lauren stores in the Zurich, Geneva and Munich airports. The shirts will also be available for purchase on the Ralph Lauren European e-commerce sites.

"This partnership reinforces the brand’s leadership in major sporting events and our dedication to supporting the game of polo," notes David Lauren, the brand’s executive vice president of advertising, marketing and corporate communications. "We are thrilled to be a part of this prestigious and glamorous event." Visit to learn more.
