All scooters are not created equal and the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is here to prove it. As the result of a collaboration between Giorgio Armani and Piaggio, the Vespa 946 is named for 1946, the year the scooter became iconic. The limited edition design features a stylishly subdued color palate that centers on shades of grey and when under certain light, the occasional pop of green shines through to give the overall look a pearly iridescence. The matte metal pieces add a vintage feel, while monobloc aluminum and brown leather finish off the aesthetic.
The Vespa 946 features a 125cc 3V engine, 12-inch wheels, and double 220mm disc brakes with an ABS braking system. It also has a full LED/LCD dashboard where the speed is read, along with other mechanical details. Though the bike officially went on sale this month, the price is on a need-to-know basis, so ask Vespa what amount to write on your check.
