Luxury Driving Schools: Wouldn’t it have been great to have a few courses like this in high school? Here’s a look at three high-performance driving academies offered by three of the most highly regarded luxury and high-performance automakers worldwide.

BMW Performance Driving School
The BMW Performance Driving School is an educational opportunity for drivers of all levels to hone skills behind the wheel of a BMW. Three types of courses are taught at the BMW Performance Center of Spartanburg, South Carolina. The course is designed to simulate as many real-driving circumstances as possible. The instructors are BMW-certified in Munich and are professional drivers from NASCAR, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), or the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA).

Lamborghini Driving Academy
You get to travel to Italy and drive Lamborghinis for two days. Who’s in? The Lamborghini Driving Academy puts guests on a professional racetrack and has them driving either a Gallardo LP560-4 or a Mucrcielago LP640. Lamborghini provides the vehicles, the track, driving instructors, and luxury accommodations in an all-inclusive luxury-vacation package. Class sessions take place near Rome at the Adria International Raceway and the Vallelunga Racetrack. The Adria International Raceway has hosted the German Tour Cars, Italian Formula Three events, and the FIA FT Championship.

Porsche Sport Driving School
The Porsche Driving School is located in Birmingham, Ala., at the Barber Motorsports Park. The outdoor classroom is a 2.38-mile track that is 45 feet wide and has an 80-foot elevation change. The venue hosts major events such as the Grand Am and the AMA Superbike series. Porsche-provided cars include the 911 Carrera S and the 911 Carrera.
