According to Boat International, Pendennis Shipyard Ltd. is responsible for building one of the world's largest sailing catamaran's, named Hemisphere. As having a keen love for diving, the owners of Hemisphere decided to create their own luxury catamaran
after failing to find one that fit their specifications. The luxury yacht
was originally conceived of being around 35 meters but once hiring architects Van Peteghem Lauriot Prévost (VPLP), the minds behind the Jules Verne record holder Groupama 3, Hemisphere grew to a staggering 44.2 meters (145.0 feet), which was as large as she could get without dealing with a whole new set of policies.
