Erica Weiner Unveils New Summer Scent in Vintage-style Locket

News & Trends: One of the latest trends in fragrance these days to move the scent from the classic perfume bottle into random contraptions. One of the more elegant and unique ideas is a perfume locket necklace from jewelry designer Erica Weiner.

Based on Victorian sensibilities, the perfume locket necklace is an, " updated version of a Victorian 'vinaigrette.' Vinaigrettes are perforated lockets with aromatic smelling salts or vinegar inside. A lady could sniff these to mask the unpleasant aromas of 18th-19th century cities. This modern take includes two custom scented oils from DS and Durga Perfumes. The crafty little conversation works through body heat. The heat of your skin activates the aromas on the soaked linen housed inside the gunmetal-plated perforated locket on a vintage stainless steel chain.
