The property is one of the most historically significant estates in the country, as it is the only residence ever designed by White on the West Coast.

WWII Water Tower Transformed Into A Very Cool 6-Story Luxury Home

I've never looked at a water tower and thought, "Wow, I would love to live up there," but Bham Design Studio has changed that. Found in Steenokkerzeel, Belgium, Chateau d’Eau is a 100-foot tall water tower that was originally built between 1938 and 1941. With a long history, including being used by the Nazis as a watchtower during World War II, the structure was in use until the 1990s.

LIKEarchitects Installs Socially Conscious Art Exhibits Outside of the Box

The Porto, Portugal-based LIKEarchitects is an award-winning firm that specializes in ephemeral-architectural art exhibits with a social conscience. Most recently the firm presented The Andy Warhol Temporary Museum, which took place in a shopping center in Lisbon, Portugal, featuring 1,500 metal paint cans that created the walls of a walk-through maze. Warhol’s artwork was displayed throughout the walkway on the can “walls.”

Is this the ultimate in home security or what? From the exterior it is as imposing as Fort Knox and sports the ambiance of Alcatraz, but this concrete monolith is actually a cleverly disguised luxury residence. The two-story “Safe House,” which is located outside of Warsaw, Poland, was built in 2009. Polish architectural firm KWK Promes designed it per the instruction of the owner to provide maximum security while maintaining all of the comforts of a high-end home.

Lionheart Capital will soon be adding to Miami Beach’s residential neighborhoods with the new Ritz-Carlton residences slated to begin selling mid-November when the on-site sales office opens. The property will cover seven acres and will be located on the shores of Surprise Lake.
