The New York Palace continues to evolve, from private residences in the 1800s to the hotel landmark it is today. The opulent offerings just keep coming, with the debut of two new 5,000-square-foot triplex suites. As a part of its $140 million renovation, the property has completed The Jewel Suite by Martin Katz and The Champagne Suite, located inside The Towers section of the hotel, 53 stories above the city skyline. Both accommodations are available at a rate of $25,000 per night and come with the use of private express elevators, maitre d'etage service, Maybach house car service, en-suite kitchens and Molton Brown bath products.

The Jewel Suite by Martin Katz

Celebrity jewelry designer Martin Katz collaborated with New York-based firm BBG-BBGM to create The Jewel Suite featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a grand piano, Port Laurent stone floors, diamond-like wall coverings, a 20-foot 'diamond waterfall' chandelier, and 'floating' crystal jewel boxes showcasing the work of Katz himself. "I am thrilled and honored to have been asked to be part of the rebirth of this incredibly iconic hotel," said Katz. "Our vision of how to excite the luxury client aligned perfectly into this crescendo of the Jewel Suite."

The second floor contains the master bedroom, complete with art deco-inspired chairs in silver and pearl velvet and a custom-designed Lucite table displaying none other than sparkling jewels. On the third floor is a private outdoor terrace and wood burning fireplace to keep warm while taking in spectacular views of the Big Apple. Each guest of The Jewel Suite leaves with a Martin Katz Diamond Microband Ring valued at $2,500 and exclusive access to private showings, design consultation, and custom jewelry creations from Katz.

The Champagne Suite

Also designed by BBG-BBGM with partner Amy Jakubowski as Principal Designer, The Champagne Suite features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Midtown Manhattan, a wine cave ready to host tastings by trained sommeliers, a two-story black and white wall mural by French artists A&M, and a dining room with seating for 10.

Book Now!"Having the chance to curate and create specialty, one-of-a-kind spaces within the confines of a resplendent luxury property was the opportunity of a lifetime," said Jakubowski. "We saw it as a means to design visionary spaces that offer guests meaningful, multi-sensory experiences unlike any other. It is our hope that guests leave with an impression of luxury not found elsewhere and that will resonate with them well beyond their visit."

The second floor master bedroom was designed after the Chardonnay grape, with shades of cream and amber throughout, and extends into the bathroom where there is a walk-in shower or deep soaking tub. A large outdoor terrace with private bar, wood burning fireplace and sitting area is a great spot to entertain guests, while the custom-made Jacuzzi offers the perfect place to sip a glass of champagne while looking out onto the twinkling city lights.
