There seems to be no end to the market for luxury properties in Dubai, especially along the glittering palm-tree shaped Jumeirah Beach peninsula, where Four Seasons has just announced it will open its newest property on November 1, 2014. For those who wish to be among the hotel’s first guests, reservations are now open for arrivals beginning December 1, 2014, with special offers available for stays between December 1 and February 28.

Proving that the best things come in small(er) packages, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is a petite jewel, compared to mega-properties competing to be the biggest, tallest, shiniest, and most expensive. At just five stories tall, the Four Seasons strives to be a green oasis that opts for quiet luxury and personal service for every guest. Each of the 237 guestrooms and suites offer balconies with glittering panoramic views of the city skyline. Three top floor suites including the 6,500-square-foot Royal Suite, the 5,500-square-foot Presidential Suite, and 1,800-2,300 Imperial Suite offer guests city and sea views. They also come complete with a media room, private gym, butler’s room, terraces, and a grand living room with its own piano and are designed for entertaining.

For beachside luxury, the Four Seasons Dubai will soon unveil its on-property watersports center with two outdoor swimming pools (one active and one quiet), and “super cabana” Day Villas with an air-conditioned interior, private sun terrace plus mini bar, flat-screen TV, private indoor and outdoor showers and a bathroom. Additional property highlights include a 7,600-square-foot beachfront spa with 10 treatment rooms, an indoor pool, an aqua thermal area, a juice bar and boutique.

Ten restaurants and lounges, five of which will be led by Executive Chef Gilles Arzur, a French native who comes to Dubai from the classic Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills in California. Independent venues include two concepts by celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, two by Zuma restaurants, and the Provocateur Night Club, a small and exclusive lounge featuring top international DJs. The cherry on top is the rooftop Mercury Lounge sporting 360-degree views.
