Honua Kai Resort & Spa sits alongside three miles of white sand and crystal clear water of one of Hawaii’s most famous beaches, Ka'anapali Beach. The 628-unit all-suite resort is located on North Beach where all one, two- and three-bedroom suite have a private kitchen, full living room and spacious lanai that makes guests feel like they are vacationing in their own private beach home.

Boasting extraordinary views from its oceanfront location the resort is designed as two U-shaped buildings Hokulani and Konea. Each suite within these buildings features a private bathroom for each bedroom, custom NanaWall® System Trifold Accordion Doors, glass-railed lanais (except for 1st and some 2nd-floor accommodations), full gourmet kitchens and many more luxury features. Their Royal Collection suites are reserved for those seeking the highest level of luxury vacationing on Maui with three distinct suite types with thoughtfully chosen Hawaiian names that represent the pinnacle of island prestige – Alii, Piilani, and Kamehameha.

Luxury amenities are aplenty at this resort, starting with the Ho’ola Spa Maui. The spa features the first Himalayan Salt Treatment Rooms on the island in a variety of indoor and outdoor day treatments exclusively from Malie Organics, Hawaii’s premier luxury beauty brand. Malie Organics utilizes wild crafted mauka (mountain) and makai (ocean side) ingredients indigenous to Maui and the Hawaiian Islands. Standout treatments include the Anti-Aging Coffee Berry Renewal Facial and the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage.

On-site and nearby attractions are also bountiful starting with Duke’s Beach House, Honua Kai Resort & Spa’s signature oceanfront restaurant and the Aina Gourmet Market. Take a dip in one of their three pools: the Wailele “Waterfall” Pool, the Maile “Calm/Quiet Pool” or the Nanea “Leisure Pool” or enjoy ocean activities like snorkeling and stand up paddling. The resort is also close by to Maui paradise allowing guests to hike in a rainforest, take a helicopter tour, rappel down a waterfall, zipline and more.

Winning the Conde Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards 2017 wasn’t enough for the resort as they entered the winter 2017 season with updates to all three resort pools, the Aquatic Playground (Family Pool), Lazy Pool and Quiet Pool, and the launch of a new winter whale watching excursion.

The hotel offers a few distinct packages including their Valentine’s Day ‘Suite Retreat’ package, Tons of Fun Whale Watching package and Island Golf & Gourmet package. Couples can enjoy a romantic sunset cocktail cruise, private photo shoot, welcome gift and complimentary rental car, guests can also indulge in spa treatments from Ho’ola Spa and delicious seaside bites from Duke’s Beach House. The Tons of Fun Whale Watching travel offer includes accommodations in a one- or two-bedroom suite with daily breakfast for two and a choice between a traditional whale watching boat tour or an exciting rafting tour. If golf and fine dining are more your things, play two rounds at Ka’anapali Golf Course – Kai Course and get a $50 dining credit from Roy’s Ka’anapali.

The hotel sits on approximately 38 acres of the West Maui shoreline and is just 50 minutes from Maui’s main airport at Kahului and 5 minutes from the Kapalua commuter airport.
