Bodega Bay Lodge: Luxury in Sonoma Wine Country

Luxury Hotels: Perched on a waterfront bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the rugged Sonoma Coast, Bodega Bay Lodge offers sweeping views and the utmost in luxury to all of its guests. Besides a memorable view of the ocean, each of its 84 guestrooms offers fluffy down comforters, a wood-burning fireplace, state-of-the-art entertainment equipment, and a private balcony or patio. With sumptuous amenities like these, it doesn’t take long for newcomers to settle in and forget the fact that the city of San Francisco is just an hour’s drive south.

Bodega Bay Lodge is nestled within eight acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Hotel guests can don their spa robes and stroll over to the spa for a massage, facial, or signature body treatment. Adjacent to the spa is a heated outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool spa, and sauna. They can also use the fitness center, which provides the latest cardiovascular equipment and free weights.

For breakfast and dinner, The Duck Club Restaurant is a romantic showcase for regional coastal cuisine. Zagat Survey refers to it as “everyone’s idea of a perfect restaurant” and awards it five stars for both ambiance and service. Event and meeting planners appreciate The Duck Club’s exceptional catering capabilities, along with its inviting and productive meeting rooms that feature fieldstone fireplaces and ocean-view windows.

The lodge is an ideal destination for those wishing to unwind as they explore the area’s beautiful beaches, seaside villages, and nature trails. Wine lovers are happy to discover that a bounty of wines is just a scenic 30 to 60 minute drive away to the Russian River, Alexander, and Dry Creek valleys. And after a day of touring, nothing quite compares to returning with a newly discovered bottle of wine in time for the sunset and another delightful evening at Bodega Bay Lodge.
