This spring, Loeven Sportwagentouren, known for having some of the best luxury cars and being the sports car touring company of choice, is offering a stylish new excursion through the most picturesque parts of Austria and Italy. From April 25 – 29 Loeven, run by the renowned Reinhard Loeven, will lead an exclusive group on a three-and-a-half day tour with stopovers at unique boutique hotels and gourmet restaurants off the beaten path. You can bring your own wheels or Loeven will rent you something from his stable of handpicked classics, including a 1974 Jaguar E-type, a 1968 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL roadster, and a 1976 Porsche Speedster replica.

The spring holds particular attractions for such an expedition. Loeven notes, “The Alpine meadows bloom in the sun, the lakes glitter in the vales and high valleys, and the snow melts in the spring warmth on both sides of the breathtaking passes.” He has selected the hotels and restaurants based on the quality of the cooking with an emphasis on local, organic ingredients, and of course a great wine list. Heading down into Italy, the tour will take you on dramatic roads made famous in the James Bond films, appropriate for the stylish convoy of classic cars. Rates begin at €1,780 (about $2,400) per person based on double occupancy, with vehicle rentals ranging from about €6,500 – €7,500 (about $8,500 – $9,800) for the trip.
