Founded in 1966 in Vicenza, the label began as a producer of leather goods but has since grown to include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear along with jewelry, furniture, and more.... Read More

Over the last year, perhaps the biggest trend in the fashion world— both on and off the runway — has been 1920’s innuendos thanks to The Great Gatsby which will be released later this week.... Lately we’ve been taking a trip down memory lane and looking at the way past decades and time periods influence today's fashion trends. The ‘20s are making a roaring comeback with The Great Gatsby and pin-up styles of the ‘50s can be seen in modern swimwear. But we can’t help but notice the nod to the Forties that hit the runways at the most recent fashion shows. In the case of Fall 2013, we can say with pure confidence that history certainly repeats itself, thanks to sightings of slim skirts, shapely blazers, and frilly furs, of course.... Read More
While certain movements have committed to promoting healthier body types for women in the media, most of what we still see on the silver screen, the red carpet, and the runways suggests that (and encourages) society’s view of the “perfect woman” is something of a long-legged, rail-thin creature with the kinds of body measurements that only pre-teen girls could possess. But recent findings of a vintage article show what was considered Hollywood’s best figure back in 1931, and you may be shocked at the results.... Read More

As a designer, Marc Jacobs is known for imitating the street style of the cool kids.
