Boston's Copley Square Hotel Provides the Perfect Staycation

Copley Square Hotel

Boston is well known for its historic sites, great restaurants and numerous things to do. For these reasons, we decided to plan a “staycation” to see what it is like to be a tourist in our favorite city.

When booking a stay in town, one of the most important things to consider is location. You want to be in an area that has it all within walking distance. We found just that at the Copley Square Hotel. Located in the heart of the busy shopping district known as Copley Place, adjacent to the Prudential Center, a few blocks from the tony shops of Newbury Street and the many restaurants that line Boylston Street, there is so much to do here.

The Back Bay hotel really stood out for us the moment we arrived with its friendly valet attendants, who welcomed us with their personalized service. We were thrilled the hotel was pet friendly and arrived with our 13-year-old English bulldog in tow.

The boutique property has 143 redesigned guest rooms and suites and also hosts a “Wine Down” hour in the lobby featuring complimentary wine tastings as well as a “Morning Pour Hour” where guests can kick off their day right with a complimentary coffee.

Our king room features a flat screen LCD television, iPod alarm clock with docking station, free wi-fi, complimentary bottled water and even a quick and easy electronic check-out. We also had a great view of Huntington Avenue and nearby Copley Place.

After just one night we felt like we had uncovered our new escape destination just a few short miles from our house.

The Copley Square Hotel is located at 47 Huntington Avenue in Boston, Mass. For reservations or more information, call (617) 536-9000 or visit them online at www.copleysquarehotel.com.
