Celebrate the Holidays at The Palm

The Palm

Steaks, steaks and more steaks. That’s the name of the game at The Palm located at One International Place in Boston’s Financial District. Whether you come here for a night on the town, a business lunch or a holiday party, this is the place to be this holiday season.

Big steaks, bold cabernets, a hearty selection of Italian fare and a beautiful dining room sets this restaurant apart from most traditional steakhouses. The caricatures lining the walls of famous Bostonians pokes fun at the restaurant’s lighter side while serious servers, white tablecloths and a gleaming dining room take the experience to a new level.

We recently visited and were greeted by our friendly and attentive server, Stephanie, who told us the oysters of the day were from Brewster, Mass. and they were also offering three, four or five-pound stuffed lobsters. The special of the day included an enormous bone-in prime rib.

To start, we recommend the addicting clams oreganata topped with crisp bacon along with the enormously fresh shrimp cocktail served with a side of atomic horseradish cocktail sauce. For main events, you can never go wrong with any of the steaks offered here, including the perfectly marbled 24-ounce bone-in ribeye, uber flavorful bone-in filet and juicy New York strip. Since the steaks are served a la carte, be sure to complement them with a side of the three-cheese potatoes served au gratin style, mushroom caps and creamed spinach.

Be sure to save some room for dessert as the massive carrot cake is too good to pass up. If you can’t finish it, they will gladly pack it up for you to enjoy at home.
