Day to Day Detail Itinerary- Click Here

Day 01: Kathmandu arrival and trek homework [1,300m/4264ft]

You will be welcomed by representatives from Adventure Discovery Treks (ADT) on your arrival in Kathmandu airport. After your official work (visa etc inside the Kathmandu airport) look for our representative with an Adventure Discovery treks and expedition (p) Ltd show board at the arrival gate. You will be transmits hotel Yak and yeti or similar 4- 5 star standard hotel (depends on your interest) and you will visit our office, meet your trek leaders as well as other members and do ending preparations for the Everest luxury lodge trek. In the evening you participate our Welcome dinner at a brilliant Nepali restaurant with traditional Nepali songs and dance. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: A full day Kathmandu sightseeing tour and trek preparations

This day you will start a guided tour around Kathmandu chronological, and religious world heritage sites including historical Kathmandu durbar square, The holy Hindu’s Pashupati Nath temple, The popular Syambunath temple/ monkey temple, and A Buddhist holy place Bouddhanath stupa known as biggest stupa in the planet. At the evening our manager gives you the details trek briefing as together with your trekking guide. At the same time please ask several questions that you would like to be clear. Day 03: Kathmandu- Lukla- Fakding [2,610m/8,561ft]: 4 hours walk

Right after breakfast at hotel you get transmit to domestic airport in Kathmandu to catch the flight to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) where from our trek starts. The 35 minutes flight to Tenzing- Hillary airport Lukla is in dramatic landscape and surrounded by high mountains peaks. Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar [3,440m/11,283ft] 6 hours walk

Crossing beautiful pine trees throughout the jungle the trek leads along the Dudh Koshi stream crossing many suspension bridges firstly we take look stunning Mt. Thamserku (6,618m). Passing Benkar, Chumoa, Manjo we arrive the check post at Jorsalle of Sagarmatha national park. After we cross the Jorsalle before arrive Namche the trail climbs through the jungle until we arrive at meeting point of the Dhudh koshi and Bhote koshi rivers. After ending steps for 1:30 hours we get first top view of Mt. Everest charming over the Lhotse and Nuptse edge. Afterwards we hike to Namche the main trading village of Sherpas. Stay again overnight at Yeti Mountain home or similar hotel.

Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar- Around 4 hours hike

This is not rest day but the fixed acclimatization day means we take either hike to Thame/Khumjung or hike to Everest View Hotel of Everest Base camp luxury Trekking to get used to for an another day. Physical situation professional advised us to stay energetic and moving throughout the acclimatization day too an alternative of being inactive. This Namche bazaar is the major center of the Everest area where we can found administration offices, ATMs, Internet, supermarkets, restaurants. Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Pangboche [3860m/12,661ft]- 6 hours walk

We begin our trekking to Pangboche taking pleasure if outstanding observations of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Nuptse (7,864m), Mt. Lhotse (8,501m), Mt. Lhotse Shar (8,393m), Mt. Tengboche also has Nepal’s largest Monastery where we also tale look. After Lunch here we trek down through forest to Pangboche for overnight at Everest Summit lodge.

Day 07: Pangboche to Dingboche [4360m/14,301ft]-4 hours walk

Starting trek after the morning breakfast from Pangboche and passing several chortens, Mani walls and small villages also enjoying the Himalayan view we trek this day to Dingboche. As we reach the Orsho from there we will not be meeting any trees and green hills as we are getting close to Everest Base Camp. Trek continues through the open valley to Dingboche. We will take short walk to Pheriche and will back to Stay overnight dingboche local lodge.

Day 08: Another Acclimatization day-4 hours hike

This is also not complete rest day as we are going high above next day. It’s always best to hike about 400 meters high and back to same place that helps us to sleep and also helps to go ahead. This Day we hike to Chhukung village. A beautiful village offers closest views of Island peak and Mt Ama dablam. The wide valley Chukung looks like deserts as there are no any green trees and wilds. We then trek back to Dingboche for overnight stay.

Day 09: Dingboche To Lobuche [4,940m/16,203] – 6 hours walk

We begin the day with open valley climb to Duglha through the Khumbu Khola valley. The eye catching views around all side of mountains along dry terrace is awarding between Dingboche and Duglha. As we carry our trek the grand scenery of Mt. Pumori (7138m/23,413ft) comes into view just before reaching Duglha. We also able to watch the top view of Nuptse, Cholatse, Thamserku, and many others peak. As we reach Duglha for lunch the Khumbu Glacier starts from here. Now we trek steep up to moraine of the khumbu Glacier. At the top we find an array of stons with Buddhist prayers flags which is used for remembrance American climber Acott Fischer. As the trail continues along Khumbu Glacier we ourselves found us surrounded by Khumbutse, Pumori and Lingtren and Mahalangur Himalayan range. As we reach the Lobuche we stay overnight.

Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak shep [5,181m/16,994ft]- Everest Base Camp [5,364m17,594ft]- Gorek shep 7-8 hours walk

Continuing trek along Khumbu glacier We pass the pyramid symbol post and extra in the path we observe summit of north rim of Everest next to Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Lingtern and Mt. Pumori etc…We catch the first view of kala patthar after hiking steeply up to the top through the stream of Changri Glacier. As we get Gorak Shep we will see the threatening mountains all around including world’s tallest mountain Everest. Carry on straight ahead crossing slightly down and up we arrive the Everest Base Camp but we are unable to see the Mt. Everest from base camp although we will see Nuptse, Khumbutse, Pumori etc. Now our dream has come true then we trek back to sleep in Gorak Shep. Stay overnight at local lodge.

Day 11: Gorak Shep to Kala patthar [5545m/18,188ft]- Pheriche [4,280m/14,038ft] 7 hours walk

This is the high point of our trek. Very early morning weak up require to climb to kala Patthar as we are climbing to catch the first light of sun on top of the Everest however its cold (-10 to -15C) in the morning and also there is chance for nippy winds which are fairly general. Once again we watch familiar peaks like Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Lhotse Shar etc... kala patthar means black rock in English. As we reach the top of Kala Patthar, we sit on tocks our eyes taking in the incredible Himalayan scenery, wondering from one impressive to another. After talking as many picture as we can then we back to Gorak Shep to have our breakfast. Then we trek back down to Pheriche slowly. Over night at Pheriche at Local lodge.

Day 12: Pheriche –Pangboche-Tengboche-Namche Bazaar [[3,440m/11,283ft] 6-7hours walk

We trek down from Pheriche to Orsgo by crossing Khumbu Khola and catch again the green forests of Rhododendron and Juniper trees. We either will have our lunch at Tenhboche or keep trek to Phunki Tenga. After lunch we climb again to Sansa through forests. Then our trek becomes easy and flat to Namche. Enjoing the view of mountains again we are hurried to take hot shower bath and sleep in comfort bed in Namche. Stay Overnight at Namche Yeti Mountain home or similar Hotel.

Day 13: Namche to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft)

The trail leads steeply down from Namche to Jorsalle through the pine trees and rocky land. After crossing suspension bridge of Dhud koshi we reach the Jorsalle check post to check out our permits and TIMS. By today the day will be warm and cozy. Crossing Manjoo village to fakding we break here for lunch and continue our trek to Lukla. The final walk close to lukla from Phakding is steep up. Overnight at Everest Summit lodge or similar hotel

Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu

The long Everest Base Camp luxury trek journey ends with flight to Kathmandu from Lukla. The early morning flight transmits us at Kathmandu airport. You can take rest and relax at the hotel. If you are interested to buy some gifts from Nepal to your friends explore the shops nearby hotel or make effort the main tourist hub Thamel where you find any desirable things. If you want to explore other places of Kathmandu please manage time for that today!

Day 15: Final Departure to your own destinations

Your Nepal trip has come at the end as this is your last day. There is nothing to do but you can manage pictures. Still if you have any more time and desire to explore any place you like please do let us know. Normally 3 hours before your flight time to get airport is required in Nepal. So we transmit you to Kathmandu Airport. Have wonderful life and hope to see you again in Nepal.

Best Trekking season
Autumn:
September- October and November are actually Nepal's highest months - offering excellent weather and tempting mountain views. This season would be the best choice time frame to explore Nepal by doing trekking. In this trekking season in Nepal the weather will be clear, where ever you go out of Kathmandu you will be seeing and enjoying the view of mountains.
Spring:
March- April and May Different varieties of wild flowers, specially the rhododendrons, make the hillside above 5000 meters a haunting paradise during this season. It is gently cozy at minor altitude and at upper altitude over 4000 meters the Himalayas outlooks are outstanding and temperature is fairly temperate. Spring season in Nepal called expedition season as well. To do trekking in Nepal this season would be the best choice.

Acclimatization / High altitude suggestions

We have designed Everest Base Camp luxury trek itinerary with high scale of consciousness of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). Walking too fast, drink less water and alcohol around high elevations can be the causes of mountain sickness so please our advice would be walk slow even you can run, take rests in several places, don’t drink alcohol in high Himalayas. Higher you reach you fell less oxygen in the atmosphere. At the same time it would be better to take advice from your doctors before you make trekking plan in Nepal. Adventure Discovery Trek has planned the itinerary which completely avoids AMS. Our all leaders and guides will also have knowledge for treating these problems as well as they will be carrying medical kit box during the trekking.

The Trekking group

For this Everest luxury tea house/lodge trek, we provides one leader (Guide) and assistant leader (4 trekkers: 1 assistant guide) and Sherpa porters for baggage carrying during the trek (2 trekkers: 1 porter). These settlements  make sure that incase any member in the group got problem or sick , the trek can still hoes continues as planed as Adventure Discovery Treks can run the group of any size to Everest Base camp but normally maximum size of 15 member is suitable for victorious trip. Of any trekkers or guests like to make group booking for above than 15 people we can handle those too as we have been leading several groups around Nepal Himalayas.

Meals/foods

During your journey around Nepal Himalaya including Everest luxury lodge trekkingthere won’t be any problems. It’s always good to choose fresh food that is suitable for high altitude. You may take pleasure with Nepali typical food called Dal Bhat, as well as all types of internationals choice like Tibetan, Continental, Italian and Indian foods are available as the all hotels has trained and experienced cook who makes quality pizza, Chips to apple pie. Fitness and experience required
