Fine Dining with Comfort Food

If someone recommended that you go out to grab some fried chicken, the first thing that might come to mind is a fast food joint. Add potato salad to the mix and a roadside diner replaces the fast food imagery. Now, what happens when you add the top-tier Chef Thomas Keller to the mix? Coming up with a proper answer might be difficult off the top of your head unless you have heard of the restaurant ad hoc.

 

A huge departure from Keller’s other restaurants (Bouchon, The French Laundry, Per Se, etc.), ad hoc is an amazing restaurant in Napa that provides guests with a significantly more casual dining experience than his other endeavors; however, this restaurant maintains his high standards of freshness, flavor and impeccable service. Unlike any other fine dining establishment that you might find yourself in, the prix fixe menu offers up classic American dishes that might just beat your mom’s old recipes (just don’t tell her that).
