Hotel Arts Barcelona Mixology: Fusion Cocktails and Cuisine Plus New Executive Chef

Frank's Bar- Official Pop-Up Location

Hotel Arts Barcelona

This fall, Hotel Arts Barcelona will introduce an exclusive culinary event unlike any previously hosted. From October 13th - 19th, guests can enjoy a gastronomically fueled journey with a special menu created by Chef Ricardo Sanz, of Michelin starred Kabuki Restaurant and Kabuki Wellington in Madrid as well as Abama Kabuki in the Canary Islands at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama in Tenerife. The new menu will offer a variety of specially crafted dishes that will highlight Chef Sanz’s unique fusion of Japanese, Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. Every element of the dining experience has been thought of, including carefully created fusion cocktails prepared by Kabuki and Hotel Art’s bartenders. In addition, a variety of sakes chosen by Kabuki’s wine consultant Juancho Asenj will complement the various exotic dishes.

To enhance the overall guest experience, the décor at Frank’s Bar will be changed to reflect the Japanese style of Chef Sanz cuisine as well as adding a new sushi counter to the bar. The new menu will consist of sushi, sashimi, salads and signature Kabuki dishes.

Another addition to the culinary mastery displayed at Hotel Arts is a third Michelin-starred chef, resulting in a gastronomical trifecta.  Current Hotel Arts’ chefs Paco Perez and Sergi Arola have a combined 5 Michelin stars. Joining the team is Executive Chef Antonio Saez Garcia who, at the age of 29, became the youngest chef in Spain to receive two Michelin stars for his work at Lasarte Restaurant. Garcia specializes in Catalonian cuisine, having introduced the first Catalan restaurant to Abu Dhabi and is an excellent addition to the already exceptional portfolio of culinary offerings at Hotel Arts. Guests will delight in his creative dishes inspired by the time he spent with Ferran Adria learning the art of molecular cuisine at the renowned El Bulli Restaurant. His previous accomplishments in addition to his ability to manage a creative culinary team make Garcia a perfect fit for Hotel Arts Barcelona.
