Las Vegas Themed Hotels

n/a

Las Vegas – the City of Sin! Vegas is known all over the world for its casinos and clubs, but we think the best part of Nevada’s glittering diamond is the themed hotels. From a Robert Louis Stevenson-esque pirate ship to the columns of Ancient Rome, there are a large number of different themes to be found along the Strip, transcending different eras and a multitude of cultures.

Most of them have their own entertainment, often coordinated with their particular theme, with some of them even having their own theatres available to the patrons. In no discernible order, here are some of our favourites.

Caesars Palace

No list of Las Vegas’s themed hotels would be complete without Caesars Palace, and because it’s practically synonymous with Sin City, we decided to put it first on the list. Caesars is home to the US’s best nightclub, PURE, so if you’re looking to dance the night away we’d suggest staying here.

Obviously, the Palace has a Roman theme, and it is known for its luxurious rooms – all 3000 of them! The Forum hosts almost 200 different shops, complete with fountains and statues. Best Bits: the HUGE casino, the coliseum theatre, the baths.

Treasure Island

This was once known for being the most child-friendly hotels on the strip, but in recent years it has grown up and become a favourite spot for adults-only holidays. Based on the Stevenson book of the same name, the hotel is dotted with treasure chests, whilst the famed pirate ship stands outside.

The ship is the location for the adult performance of “The Sirens of Treasure Island” and the hotel is home to one of Cirque du Soleil’s most famous shows, Mystère. Relax in the hot tub, but be prepared to share – it seats up to fifty people!

Best Bits: the ship (obviously), the 2000+ slot machines.

Paris

As you might have guessed from the name, this hotel is about all things Germany! Okay, okay – not really, it’s Paris after all! Believe it or not, this hotel has recreated most of the famous Parisian landmarks right here in Las Vegas, from the Arc de Triomphe to the Eiffel Tower.

It doesn’t stop there – there’s also Le Boulevard, a little section of Paris streets, complete with lamps and shop fronts, as well as a chocolatier, and the interior of the hotel is decked out in finest Parisian decadence, such as marble bathrooms and gloriously French styled furniture.

Best Bits: the Eiffel Tower restaurant, the replica fountain, Barry Manilow.

We’ve listed just three of the themed hotels available to you in Vegas – there’s also an Egyptian one, a mini Venice, a circus hotel and the renowned Sahara, among others – so you can see there is plenty of choice. Wherever your interests lie, you’re sure to find something you like in Las Vegas!
