William D. Kickham, Esq. is, aside from being a practicing attorney (www.kickhamlegal.com), an experienced writer and editor. Prior to entering private law practice, Bill was Media Spokesperson and Editor-In-Chief for the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA.) MATA is the Massachusetts chapter of the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA, now called the American Association for Justice,) and Bill managed all their news operations. Later, he was the Media Spokesperson in the New England states for the Insurance Information Institute (III), which represents the liability insurance industry in the United States to the media. He was previously the Executive Producer and Host of his own cable TV show for nine years, 'At The Bar,' which was broadcast most recently on the Comcast cable network in the south suburban Boston area. He is a regular blogger on legal issues, at www.bostoncriminalattorneyblog.com. When Bill is not representing legal clients, he writes travel stories around the world with Debbi (the love of his life, as he tells people) from Alaska to Zaire).
