Queenstown’s Best Ski Fields

The Remarkables Ski Area is only a 45 minute drive away from Queenstown. You can even leave the car behind and take a ski shuttle so you can truly sit back and enjoy the ride.

Treble Cone

Treble Cone is only 26 kilometres away from Queenstown’s neighbouring town of Wanaka. It is famous for having more skiable terrain than any other ski and snowboard field in the South Island.

Treble Cone has great terrain for all levels of skier and snowboarder, from the purpose built learner area right through to green and blue runs and challenging black runs for the truly adventurous expert snow aficionados. The off-piste powder skiing for the most advanced skiers and snowboarders is legendary. Treble Cone offers more advanced terrain than any other ski area in New Zealand.

Snow Park NZ and Cardrona

Snow Park NZ located in the Cardrona Valley, located between Lake Wanaka and Queenstown, is among New Zealand’s best freestyle resorts. Snow Park NZ, offers a range of superpipes, half pipes, a snow skate area as well as boxes and rails to test your skills on.

Cardrona Alpine Resort is a great option for families with children with its comprehensive Children’s Alpine Centre. This facility provides all day supervision for 5-12 year olds with custom made ski and snow boarding lessons. Cardrona also has New Zealand’s longest terrain par with two trails built on a purpose built terraced course.
