Micropigmentation, more commonly referred to as "Permanent Makeup," is a semi-invasive procedure where skin is broken in order for the implantation of pigment to occur. Pigments (colors) are selected and custom blended. This innovative technology is medically proven and is specifically designed to be completely safe.

Permanent Makeup Procedures and Benefits of Permanent Makeup?

To enhance the eyes, pigment is placed in the eyebrows to frame the face. As we age, it is common for the eyebrows to become sparse. When the eyebrows are fuller and extended, you get a more youthful appearance. The same applies for eyeliner. It opens the eyes, and compensates for sparse eyelashes.

Other Applications of Micro- Pigmentation:

How Long Does Each Procedure Take?

Approximately 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours. Follow up procedure will take place seven weeks from the day of the procedure; however, the follow up visit will not require as much time.

Is Permanent Makeup Painful?

Pain management is provided using topical numbing creams. These products help desensitize the area; however Permanent Makeup procedures is semi-invasive and there maybe some discomfort. It really does vary on each individual's threshold for pain. Most people equate this procedure with electrolysis, which can be uncomfortable at times, but tolerable.


What Will I Look Like After My Treatment?

Immediately following the treatment there, maybe some swelling or redness, but Laurie will give you a Pre-Procedure advice sheet to help minimize the swelling. This will usually last no more than 24 hours. The color will be slightly darker for three days to one week. This color will lighten to the desired shade.

Is the Treatment Safe?

The equipment used complies with all relevant health and safety requirements. All needles are disposable, sterile and of the highest quality. Sterilization and hygiene is of the utmost importance before, during, and after the treatment.
