The newest addition to Yves Saint Laurent Beauty's line is the brand’s Fall 2012 Makeup Collection. The luxury makeup brand's new look combines khaki hues with soft gold accents and is complete with some bold red statement products. The Fall 2012 line includes lipsticks, nail polishes, glowing face luminizers, eyeshadows, mascara, and eyeliner, and we decided to highlight our favorite picks for you. Inspired by the gold, green and brown hues of the season, this collection headlines new limited edition products that are available in several different shades and have us looking forward to the change of season.
The collection’s Palette Couture Highlighting Powder is already a hit among consumers. It combines three mid-tone shades of rose and peach, and works as a blush while also accentuating certain areas for a youthful glow. With a smooth, velvety consistency, this product is great for building color on the high points of your face. At $68, the Highlighting Powder comes in a detailed compact with a velvet sleeve.

The Yves Laurent Pure Chromatics is a standout product of this collection and truly encompasses its autumn theme. The newest shades for fall include No10, a forest green palette which would look great on hazel eyes, and No11, which includes neutral and navy hues. At $52, this eye palette can go on dry or wet, and would be a great addition to any makeup bag.

Another consumer favorite from this collection is the Rouge Pur Couture The Mats, a group of intense lip colors that will surely make a statement. Though they have a matte texture, the lipsticks are made with a rich, creamy formula infused with a velvet complex, providing you with a smooth application. At $32 a tube, this collection includes 201 Orange Imagine, 203 Rouge Rock, and 206 Grenat Satisfaction. In case you couldn’t tell by the names, these shades were inspired by rock groups, and the hues of the stains prove it.

Rounding out the Fall Collection are the newest shades to Yves Saint Laurent’s pre-existing La Laque Couture nail polish collection. Its newest additions for fall include "No31 Khaki Arty" and "No32 Rouge Expressioniste." These polishes have a thick pigment and a patent-like shine that should wear on nails for at least four days without chipping (at $25 a bottle, we hope so!) Plus, a new custom-made brush allows an easy and fast application.
