Nelson Swag
Leg Chair
George Nelson began with the legs when
designing his Swag Leg Group (1958).
He insisted that they be made of metal
and machine formed, and discovered his
solution in swaging, a method of using
pressure to taper and curve a metal tube. Perfect for the modern office. |

looks rounded, similar to a boulder being
eroded for a long time in the sea before
it reaches its ultimate shape.
