Nautica's New Home Fashions for Fall 2009

Home Decor: Nautica has long history of making luxurious products that combine an aesthetic of casual classic with water themes, making the brand a favorite in not only apparel but also in home décor.

The brand combined their signature aesthetic with new unexpected color and texture to create the Fall 2009 line of bedding and home accessories.

Just as menswear ruled the apparel runways this fall, luxury house Nautica transported the menswear theme to the home for the Nautica Fall 2009 Home Collection.

Bedding ensembles for the season include several choices including Jordan Pond Plaid, a green, warm ivory and soft gray large-scale plaid combination enhanced by an ivory ground, solid ivory cuff, and green piping. Huron Bay features Nautica's signature navy, enhanced by details like bold stripes, button closures and piping. Port Hope brings a feminine touch to the collection, with a classic pink, yarn dyed plaid on top of the bed, accented by pink striped sheets and polka-dotted decorative pillows.

Also for the bedroom, Nautica is introducing the new Tattersall sheet sets this fall. The new sheets come in five color options: navy, pink, khaki, green/brown combo and red, to dress up anywhere from children's rooms to the master suite.

In the bathroom, the Freeport shower curtain enhances any space and coordinates with the new towel offerings, while the San Marino offers signature Nautica yarn dyed stripe construction in yellow hued stripes. Towels for the season include the eco-friendly Harborside, made from pima cotton and bamboo, making them naturally anti-bacterial and super soft.

The Nautica Home Spring 2010 Collection combines Nautica's classic casual with the inspiration of coastal living, creating a range of bedding and home accessories in neutral tones, varied fabrics and graphic prints.

The bedding collection is filled with coastally inspired names like Summer Island, Ocean Ridge, Charleston, Bodega Bay, Lemon Grass, and Prospect Harbor. Each set focuses on neutral hues enhanced by a surprising pop of color. Prints reflect tropical energies and summer shades.

Both collections also offer infant and juvenile options that can be mixed with each other or existing decors.
