Automobile Magazine recently named the Audi TT RS as the recipient of its 2012 All-Star award. The award will be presented to the automaker at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.
"We're proud to be recognized by Automobile Magazine as an All-Star," said Johan de Nysschen, president, Audi of America. "The Audi TT RS stands as the pinnacle of the TT model line and represents the highest performance category for Audi vehicles."
Powered by a 2.5-liter, turbocharged five-cylinder TFSI engine, the Audi TT RS metes out 360 horsepower, between 5,500 and 6,700 rpm, with its six-speed manual transmission. The interior also has unique attributes, such as three-spoke steering wheel, interior door handles, and aluminum doorsills with the RS logo.
"The Audi TT RS is not just a beautiful machine inside and out, but a soul-stirring one; the epitome of everything that Audi means to us. It's a perfect tool for driving perfectionists, worthy of a choice parking spot in the dream garage," said Jean Jennings, Automobile Magazine editor-in-chief.
