Notable features on display include new LED headlights that produce a "strikingly" bright white light. The high and low on the innovative beamers is that these are adaptive lights that shine in accordance to surrounding conditions.
There is a 10.2-inch display panel in the center, the iDrive Control, which serves as the interface for everything you and your car ever need to talk about, including turning on that clog-stomping hi-fi system by Danish audio-systems specialist Bang & Olufsen.
The biennial auto show, which is attended by one and all in the biz, is also known as the 2010 Mondial de l'Automobile. The 2010 Paris Motor Show runs from October 2-17.
