Six high-end single-family residences in Hawaii will go to auction this month at two separate auctions helmed by Concierge Auctions. Three of the six real estate properties will be presented without any reserve price. The special auctions will occur later this month on June 18 and June 21.
The June 18 auction will feature three luxury properties at Secret Beach on the North Shore of Kauai. There is a 24-acre estate and two residences with more than five acres of land. One of the two oceanfront houses, on five-plus-acres, will be sold without a reserve price. Both properties originally were listed at $8.5 million. The Michele Hughes Company is the owner of these properties. The company specializes in developing luxury residences.
“These properties are the crown jewels of an originally 40-acre Secret Beach oceanfront parcel that I have been blessed to nurture and develop over the past thirty years," said CEO Michele Hughes. “I am excited to work again with Concierge Auctions and to find owners who will cherish these properties and enjoy the Island lifestyle they so ideally enable.”
Bidding will be conducted live, onsite on June 18, 2012, in cooperation with Sleeping Giant Sotheby’s International Realty and Hawaii Life Real Estate. The June 21 auction will present three deluxe cottages in the Kukui’ula Golf & Beach Community.
Two of those properties will go to auction without any reserve price. So, regardless of the amounts bid, the bidder with the highest amount will be the new owner. The sale will be conducted in cooperation with Kaua‘i Heritage Properties, LLC.
The Kukui’ula Golf & Beach Community is a private club located on the south shore of Kaua’i that features an 18-hole Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course. It is among the newest luxury property communities on the islands. For more information, visit ConciergeAuctions.com.
Although Kauai's North Shore is known for their high end real estate, I can't imagine either of these properties fetching anything close to their previous 8 million asking price. Maybe 6-7 million at the most.

Although Kauai's North Shore is known for their high end real estate, I can't imagine either of these properties fetching anything close to their previous 8 million asking price. Maybe 6-7 million at the most.
