With Christmas just a few days behind us, there is no better way to celebrate with a young one than a day at the TD Garden to see Disney on Ice’s Treasure Trove show that is coming to town December 26-29, 2011.

Hosting just 10 performances, the skating show tells a magical medley of Disney tales in one ice show that commemorates the legacy of Disney animated films. Here you will be able to see all of your favorite childhood shows from Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White to Peter Pan, Ariel and Rapunzel.

My niece Ashley loved trekking through the wilds of Africa with Simba, Nala, Pumbaa and Timon as they discover the true meaning of the ‘Circle of Life.’ From the wilds of Africa, they will set sail on a journey with Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and Captain Hook as they head off on an adventure beyond Never Land.

The performance schedule is as follows:
  • Tuesday, December 27 - noon and 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 28 - 11 a.m., 3 and 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, December 29 - 1 and 5 p.m.
Tickets for Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove at the TD Garden are $20, $25, $35, $55 (VIP), and $90 (Front Row) and can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling (800) 745-3000, or in person at the TD Garden Box Office at 100 Legends Way in Boston.
