It’s not too late to kick off the year right with a healthy weekend getaway. Be Healthy Boston is recruiting people this weekend to an urban wellness retreat taking place at the Westin Waterfront in Boston.
On January 28-29, Be Healthy Boston will help you find the best way to incorporate health and wellness into your ever busy lifestyle. The event will feature morning stretches led by Lululemon Ambassador Leslie Salomon Jones, a keynote address from Terri Trespico, former senior editor of Whole Living Magazine, Candy O’Terry of Magic 106.7, and Seth Goldman, founder and TeaEO of Honest Tea.
Attendees can also participate in some fun workshops such as Live Boldly, The Green Home, Reading Between the Lines, Farm to Table Cooking, Living in Harmony, Integrative Weight Management for Success, Food is Medicine, More than Skin Deep, and Fitness through the Ages. Be sure to check out the website so you don’t miss the scheduled cooking demonstrations with local Chefs Ana Sortun of Oleana and Jody Adams of Trade and Rialto.
If you have ever wondered if a Zumba or Pilates class might be fun, now is your chance to participate in mini trial fitness classes. Featured classes include Gyrotonics and Kettlebells from local fitness centers and clubs, one-on-one consults with personal trainers and life coaches, and treatments by massage and Reiki therapy experts. Tickets can be purchased at BeHealthyBoston.com. A full two-day ticket is $159, student tickets with a current valid ID are $79. A limited number of one-day passes for either Saturday or Sunday can be purchased for $89.
