Space Travel Made Possible With Space Adventures Private Lunar Missions

Have you ever dreamt about going to the moon? Today you can make history by writing your name among the world's first private lunar explorers, witness Earth rise as you emerge from the far side of the moon and be a part of humankind's expansion into space.

The Space Adventures' circum-lunar mission design uses a unique combination of existing and flight tested Russian technology. Building on space technology originally developed for manned lunar missions, the Space Adventures team is ready to take you to the moon today (well maybe not today as you need some basic training) if you share their vision for the future of the mankind and more importantly have what it takes. What does it take? Turns out it takes a lot of courage and a lot of money.

"This mission is a unique opportunity for a private citizen to become one of the great explorers of the 21st Century," says Apollo 11 moonwalker Buzz Aldrin. "Space Adventures continues to build upon existing technology and infrastructure to provide spaceflight opportunities to private citizens," added Mr. Anderson with an eventual moon-landing mission in mind.

Founded in 1998, Space Adventures is a private space exploration company. Using proven equipment and working side-by-side with a professional board of astronauts and cosmonauts, Space Adventures is the first and only company to have sent private clients into space. Reportedly, Space Adventures clients - having traveled 36 million miles - so far have spent almost three months in space.

In addition to its Lunar Misson, Space Adventures also offers a variety of programs such as Zero-Gravity and MiG flights, cosmonaut training, spaceflight qualification programs and reservations on future suborbital spacecrafts.
