Miami Beach Culture: Located in a synagogue that was once home to Miami Beach's first Jewish congregation, the Jewish Museum of Southern Florida brings about a discussion of this religion's influence in the region throughout its history. The building, built in 1936, features nearly 80 stained-glass windows, copper dome, marble bimah, and many other Art Deco features.

The core exhibit at the Jewish Museum of Southern Florida is MOSAIC: Jewish Life in Florida. Photographs and artifacts from all over the state are on display to explain how Jewish immigrants transformed the area, presented so as to relate to all visitors.
