Whiskey Blue at W Hotel New Orleans Debuts Super Bowl Cocktail Menu

Whiskey Blue inside The W New Orleans is getting itself in gear for the upcoming Super Bowl. Playoff games are in progress and football fans across the United States are either already pretty angry their teams have been eliminated from the Super Bowl list of hopefuls, or on the edge of their seats praying they come out on top after the NFC Championship games this weekend. The W Hotel’s signature bar, Whiskey Blue has created two signature cocktails for the teams that still have a fighting chance to participate in the Super Bowl XLV III game on February 3. Chic and modern aside, Whiskey Blue will be showing off its game face with the debut of these innovative cocktails.

You’ll have plenty of time on game day to enjoy a six pack, so take a break from the keg and opt for a cocktail! The beverages included on Whiskey Blue's specialty “Super Bowl” menu feature clever ways to honor this year’s hopefuls. In support of the Ravens is the “Camden Yard” made with Finlandia Tangerine vodka, Bayou Teche Grenade, Chambord and topped with a blackberry garnish. Silver Tequila, fresh grapefruit juice, Rhubarb bitters, and cranberry make up the 49er’s tribute “The Gold Rush."

All of the Crescent City is getting game-ready with a variety of fun offerings and events. So join the crowd of football fanatics, pick a team (even if it’s just because that team has the prettiest jersey), and prepare yourself to get in on the celebration of one of America’s favorite pastimes.
