New Orleans Culture: The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden is part of the New Orleans Museum of Art, and provides a lovely collection of modern art installations. Laid out across five acres of parkland are more than fifty sculptures from many of the world's most respected artists.
The museum itself is the oldest in the city, with a permanent collection of over 40,000 pieces of art. Their exhibits often feature French and American art, photography and glasswork. |
