Atlantic City is full of great restaurants, but sometimes you want to dine in style—what better reason to dress to the nines than a night out at a fancy eatery? There may be a lot of options, but we narrowed the selection down to our four favorite fine dining establishments that will certainly leave you satiated.

Buddakan

Though Buddakan has locations in NYC and Philadelphia, the AC spot is definitely the coolest. Not only is it almost double the size of the others, it has a giant Buddha statue in the main dining room that calmly watches over guests as they eat. The dinner menu features pan-seared sea bass with butternut squash and truffle jus and grilled lamb chops with Chinese eggplant and Thai basil pesto. Plus, they have a varied sake menu that includes Akita Komachi for $125 a bottle.

Café 2825

When looking for Italian food in AC, it’s tough to beat Café 2825. The intimate restaurant only has 14 tables, making it a favorite among locals looking for a quiet meal. Making everything from scratch in the small kitchen, Café 2825 offers dishes like the Costoletta Val D’Aostano and Stuffed Calamari.

Bobby Flay Steakhouse

As one of Bobby Flay’s first restaurants, this steakhouse at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa prefers to use local ingredients whenever possible. Taking a page from traditional steakhouses, the dining room features red leather accents, horseshoe-shaped booths, and a huge lobster tank. Right now they are offering a Strip and Shore steak specialty for $125 that comes with an American Kobe strip steak and a fresh lobster tail, and a Lobster and Shellfish Deluxe Selection for $135.

Il Verdi

Specializing specifically in Northern Italian dishes, Il Verdi in the Tropicana boasts an extensive Italian wine list of unique pairings and a Chef’s Table where you can enjoy a six- or seven-course customized menu. Among the option, standouts include the Capesante alla Torino with seared Viking Village scallops, the Agnello alla Barbelletto lamb chops with fresh herb semolina breadcrumbs, and the Bistecca alla Piemontese grilled NY sirloin.
