On December 1, Bell Gardens will welcome The Bicycle Hotel & Casino. The new $50 million resort, which was unveiled last week by Managing General Partner and CEO Hashem Minaiy and Robert H. Carter, President of Carter Management Group, Inc., will be the hotel addition to the current Bicycle casino. The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by California Governor Jerry Brown, Bell Gardens Mayor Jennifer Rodriguez and Assembly Member Cristina Garcia, and included a brigade of motorcycles with tuxedo-clad drivers.

The seven-story, 117,907-square-foot boutique property will house a total of 99 deluxe guest rooms, 29 of which are luxury suites for the casino’s high-rollers and well-heeled visitors. Luxury accommodations will range from the 648-square-foot classic suite to the 2,007-square-foot presidential suite, a two-bedroom with formal living room, Jacuzzi tub and L’Occitane En Provence toiletries. Every room was designed by Hager Design International using Californian-inspired furnishings to create a tranquil retreat.

Casino guests will find 185 table games to play including baccarat, pai gow tiles, blackjacks, and several variations of poker. The resort will also be home to a number of restaurants and eateries like The Bike Brewery, which will have 28 craft beers on tap including the Bike Brew, a blonde ale exclusive to the property. The second floor will be reserved exclusively for relaxation with an outdoor pool and private cabanas, the Hotel Spa, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The property will also have 15,000 square feet of meeting space, making it an ideal spot for mixing a little business with pleasure.

Reservations start at $131 per night.
