Arizona Biltmore, The Waldorf Astoria Collection

Known throughout the world as the "Jewel of the Desert," the Arizona Biltmore provides a restful oasis of 39 acres covered with lush gardens, glistening swimming pools, and Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced architecture. Set in the heart of Phoenix, the Arizona Biltmore has been a favorite of celebrities and U.S. presidents throughout its colorful history.

Built as one of Phoenix's first resorts in 1929 the Arizona Biltmore was constructed in grand form by brothers Albert, Charles and Warren McArthur. Frank Lloyd Wright served as the consulting architect, and the Arizona Biltmore remains one of the only existing hotels in the world to benefit from his influence.

Accommodations:

Each of the luxurious 738 guest accommodations reflects the timeless heritage of the Arizona Biltmore. Fine linens, unique furnishings and state-of-the-art entertainment systems make it easy to relax. Each oversized suite is beautifully decorated in mission-style furnishings; plush fabrics wrapped in desert palettes of beige, sand and ivory reflect the surrounding mountain vistas.

Spa:

Discovering the powers of natural ingredients and creating treatments that unlock their benefits is the special niche of the Arizona Biltmore Spa. Guests who are conscious and concerned about both the environment and what they put on their bodies, are delighted by Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa's green experience. With natural and organic products and practices, these signature treatments are excellent for guests and the environment. Chemical-free, organic products work with the body and are eco-friendly to address guests' physical, mental and spiritual health.

Golf:

Adjacent to the resort, the Arizona Biltmore Country Club offers a challenging 36-hole design, featuring two of the premier Phoenix golf resort courses: The Adobe and The Links. Built in 1928 and restored in 2004, The Adobe offers wide fairways and classic cross-bunkers for that extra challenge. The Links features rolling fairways, desert ravines and five pristine lakes that call for a high level of sportsmanship, bold shots and demanding accuracy.

Dining:

Whether it's a romantic dinner at Wright's at the Biltmore or simply a quick snack at The Café, guests of the Arizona Biltmore have many dining options from which to choose. A skilled team of chefs, inventive cuisine and a variety of culinary experiences has earned Arizona Biltmore a reputation of excellence for dining in Phoenix. Opened in 2009, Frank and Albert's offers comfort food with a twist! An exhibition kitchen and stunning garden views makes this a dramatic venue. Guest-room dining is offered 24 hours a day. The Cabana Club keeps poolside dining casual and easy with a simple fare and swim-up bar.

Activities:

You'll stay busy for days with everything the resort has to offer! The 22,000 square-foot European Spa and Fitness Center offers 21 treatment rooms, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, and a complete work-out facility. 36-holes of championship golf surround the resort, and seven tennis courts are lit for night play. The Kid's Korral offers structured programs for children ages 5 to 12, and daily activities keep guests of all ages involved. An 18-hole putting course weaves throughout the grounds, and a life-size chess board is located next to the Paradise Pool area. The young-at-heart will find amusement with the 92-foot waterslide, and five additional pools offer solace for guests wanting a quieter atmosphere. A children's playground and basketball court are located next to the tennis complex.

Events:

The Arizona Biltmore offers more than 40,000 square feet of unique ceremony and reception space on its lush 39-acre property. Each ballroom and distinctive indoor and outdoor ceremony site embodies the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired architecture, complete with ornate décor, historic antique accessories, manicured gardens and majestic views of Piestawa Peak.
