Health & Beauty Few spas can deliver a comprehensive beauty menu in an intimate, welcoming space. I was pleased to find a little San Diego based gem along Washington Ave that has mastered the balance of one-stop service with a cozy ambience: The Beauty and Body Lounge. The entire spa is in a historic home, sprinkled with touches like an inviting front porch, heavy wood rafters throughout, and an original fireplace. I have to resist showing up just to drink ice tea on the porch, without a treatment scheduled, because the lounge is just so endearing and quaint.
