San Diego Culture: The San Diego Museum of Art is one of Balboa Park's most popular attractions, drawing over a quarter-million visitors every year. The permanent collection at the museum features Spanish and Italian old-world styles, as well as 19th- and 20th-century American works.
The museum also features rotating exhibits from around the world, and their research library contains a collection of art history publications. There is also a café in the museum that provides a beautiful setting for a snack.
