Scottsdale Culture: The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, or SMoCA, presents a wide-ranging collection of art produced since World War II with a global focus. Tailored programs at the museum use workshops, lectures, tours and classes to promote lifelong learning and appreciation for current cultural contributions.
The building was designed by award-winning architect Will Bruder, who used a minimalist-style remodel of a former movie theatre to provide a stunning landmark for the city. SMoCA is also highly regarded for their sculpture garden.
