Scottsdale Culture: Heard Museum of Native Cultures and Art educates the public about the heritage of Native Americans, with a focus on those who inhabit the Southwest. The museum has been growing and expanding since its inception in 1929, from a small adobe home to a 21,000 square-foot permanent collection and campuses elsewhere in Arizona.

Heard Museum shows anywhere from six to eight new exhibitions throughout each year, with most highlighting Native American art forms. The museum is made up of ten gallery spaces and beautiful breezeways that weave through gardens, fountains and an outdoor café.
