Washington, DC may seem like a serious city, but its people still like to have a good time. Judging by Technomic Inc. and Nightclub.com's list of Top 100 highest grossing bars in 2011, there isn't a lack of high-end nightlife in the nation's capital. Take a look at some of these hot spots bringing in the crowds and the revenue in 2011.

#44 P.O.V. Rooftop Terrace & Lounge $10-15 Million

Washington, D.C.ís P.O.V. Club is known for its breathtaking views of the White House and historic monuments and secured a top fifty spot on Nightclub & Bars' highest grossing list. P.O.V. is complete with an outdoor terrace and indoor lounge and the club provides seasonally inspired cocktails as well as a superior selection of wine and champagne. The wine and food menu was expertly designed by Jean-Georgesís Culinary Concepts. P.O.V is not only an excellent place for after-work drinks, it is a classy destination for private parties or an elegant night-out in The District.

#63 LOVE Nightclub $5-10 Million


D.C.'s LOVE Nightclub boasts four floors, indoor/outdoor decks, VIP rooms and a Penthouse Suite. Each level plays a different style of music attracting a crowd as diverse as its playlist. This mega club is considered to be the apex of luxury and features a long list of celebrity musicians and performers. It also plays host to some of the hottest New Years Eve parties in the city.

#85 The Park at Fourteenth $5-10 Million


The Park at Fourteenth in Washington, D.C. made the list not only because they're bringing in the big bucks, but because The Park also features a creative menu for day-time guests which reflect the collaborative efforts of Chef Lois Spencer and James Balster. Some of the menu items found on the first-floor dining area include vine ripened tomato soup, oven-braised BBQ short ribs, and homemade cinnamon sugar donuts with a frozen cappuccino custard and cool cream foam.
