Washington Things To Do: The National Air and Space Museum is the largest collection of air and spacecraft in the world. On display are the most famous vehicles ever to take to the sky, like the original Wright 1903 Flyer and the Apollo 11 command module.

The three marble cubes that make up the museum house not just aircraft, but plenty of associated treasures like rocks from the moon and space suits worn by astronauts. The museum is part of the Smithsonian Institution and sees over six million visitors per year.
