Atlanta Things To Do: Founded in 1889, Zoo Atlanta is one of the oldest continually operating zoological institutions in America. This run is due in part to their collection of 1,300 animals from 220 species in seven exhibits.
Look out for parakeets flying around in the aviary, gorillas in the rainforest, and a giant panda in the Asian Forest. There is also a children's zoo on site.
