Las Vegas Things To Do: The Fremont Street Experience is located in the historic section of Las Vegas, and is home to the world's largest big screen. Crane your neck and take in the sights flashing across the 12 million lights that make up the Viva Vision canopy.
Below the canopy is a pedestrian mall full of retailers, restaurants, and two permanent performing arts stages. Special events are always happening, and there are, of course, slot machines as well. |

I had heard that "you have to see the light show downtown" every time I went to Vegas. I finally went to see the show a couple of years ago and every time thereafter.... it is great. What a treat! So, if you go to vegas, if you do nothing else see the lightshow downtown. You can hop a bus and away you go! Cheap fun! Oh, wait... it's free!
