425 Fremont Street

Las Vegas, NV 89101

Fremont Street Experience

The Fremont Street Experience is located in the historic section of Las Vegas, and is home to the world's largest big screen. Crane your neck and take in the sights flashing across the 12 million lights that make up the Viva Vision canopy. The Slotzilla Zipline starts off of a 12 story tower and takes riders through the downtown casinos, right under the video canopy, for a truly unique experience.

Below the canopy is a pedestrian mall full of retailers, restaurants, and two permanent performing arts stages. Special events are always happening, and there are, of course, slot machines as well.

You know this area has gotten a lot nicer as of late. It's def worth a stop if you are visiting, they are trying to make it more fun and the scene is a little less (just a little less) VEGAS. The Freemont street experience is cool enough and all of the fun divey-er bars are a bit less protentious.

I had heard that "you have to see the light show downtown" every time I went to Vegas. I finally went to see the show a couple of years ago and every time thereafter.... it is great. What a treat! So, if you go to vegas, if you do nothing else see the lightshow downtown. You can hop a bus and away you go! Cheap fun! Oh, wait... it's free!
