A celebrated mix of live music, fine food and Scotch comes to Canary Wharf this week with the official opening of Boisdale Canary Wharf - the world’s leading Scottish restaurant and whisky bar.
Customers will be treated to a menu created by Michelin star-trained Executive Head Chef Andy Rose, featuring the finest ingredients from Scotland and elsewhere in the British Isles. An outdoor terrace stretching the full length of the venue overlooks the iconic architecture of Cabot Square with spectacular views towards the City of London.
The terrace offers a superb spot to enjoy an alfresco drink or cigar.
Patrons can choose from one of the finest selections of Cuban and vintage Cuban cigars in the UK and smoke them in the 170-square-foot walk-in humidor.
Those partial to a dram of Scottish spirit can marvel at the 40-foot long bar – one of the world’s finest - and choose from over 1,000 bottles of malt whisky that form a glowing amber wall.
Boisdale Canary Wharf joins ROKA, Plateau, the parlour, Canteen, Rocket, Jamie’s Italian and others in showcasing the very best of Canary Wharf’s hospitality scene. This famous business and shopping district is fast-becoming a gastronomic 'hot-spot' with an array of exciting hospitality openings and upcoming events including the internationally-acclaimed Restaurant & Bar Design Awards on Thursday 7 July.
Camille Waxer, Vice President of Retail at Canary Wharf Group plc, says, "Boisdale joins the Canary Wharf community at a very exciting time. The working population is growing and people are increasingly recognising the area as a great place to relax and have fun outside work hours."
"We want Canary Wharf to be at the centre of London’s hospitality, arts, events and shopping scenes. The opening of Boisdale Canary Wharf will take us a long way towards that."
Boisdale Canary Wharf opens to the public on Monday 18 April.
