If vampy vintage and sexy supperclubs are your thing, you’ll love what London's Volupté has in store for New Year’s Eve.
Expect old style glitz and glamour at its ‘Vintage Ball’ with dinner followed by all-night dancing just a hop, skip and a nipple tassel’s twirl away from Chancery Lane. Dressed in attire inspired by the 20s and 40s, diners are invited down into the dark, decadent depths of the Cabaret Salon to enjoy a sumptuous, three-course supper followed by a special show.
Expect the unexpected with live music, comedy and burlesque from 6 p.m. that includes big-name acts such as The Shirt Tail Stompers, Christian Lee and Chrys Columbine. And that’s just the beginning. Come 9 p.m., the space transforms into a heady club that harks back to the sultry speakeasies of yesteryear with a retro soundtrack courtesy of The Black Cotton Club.
And carrying on ‘til dawn, there will be no Cinderellas rushing home from this beautiful burlesque ball, which costs £90pp for the whole evening. Visit Volupte-Lounge.com for more information.
