Madrid Culture: Lázaro Galdiano Museum opened its doors to the public on January 27, 1951 after its inventory by Emilio Camps Cazorla funds and appropriate the building and its facilities by Fernando Chueca Goitia as dictated by the museum project Camón Jose Aznar.
Despite occupying the same space of the old house was not a project that aims to recreate the house as such but to locate in the spaces preserved collection historiographic and aesthetic criteria.
The museum remained unchanged until this past January 2001, the month in which closed its doors to undertake the major works of rehabilitation and reorganization of museums and museum opened on February 13, 2004 and that have been carried out according to the projects of architects and Jesus Moreno Fernando Borrego, respectively.
