The Deleuze Isasi Chemist opened in 1780 and has reached present times respecting the original, Baroque, decoration. The traditional pharmacy pots, noticeable upon entering, are porcelains from the Real Fábrica del Buen Retiro. There is a large chandelier on the ceiling; there are canvases on the walls...and a modernist back room that for years held prestigious gatherings, attended by Sagasta, Cánovas, Pi y Margall, Pérez Galdós and the best doctors from the Romantic era.
