After checking into the Conrad, the sparkling city and Hudson River views from the Superior Riverview Suite, which is located on the highest floors of the hotel, will help ignite romance. The 430 square-foot room features a king-sized bed, rainfall shower, two HD televisions, wet bar with espresso machine and aromatherapy products. Upon arrival guests will also find an in-room floral arrangement from BLOOM as well as a complimentary bottle of wine or champagne from Vintry Fine Wines and Macarons from Francois Payard Bakery. In the evening, the Conrad has arranged for a private dinner at ATRIO Wine Bar | Restaurant which will be serving a special Valentine’s Day menu from Chef Anthony Zamora.
The three-course menu will include offerings of Hudson Valley Foie Gras Terrine with Sicilian Pistachio, Yellow Fin Tuna Crudo with Tuscan Kale, Parmesan Polenta and Black Truffle Jus; Butter Poached Halibut accompanied by Butternut Squash; Lobster Bolognese with Basil Seedling; and a choice of Manjari Chocolate Mousse, Amarena Cherries with Marcona Almonds, Passion Fruit Panna Cotta, or Roasted Pineapple with Coconut Cream for dessert. ATRIO will also be offering their specially crafted “Flirtinis” to accompany the meal. After dinner, experience the city from new heights during a private helicopter tour around Manhattan. The special offering can only be experience on February 14, 2013 ($1,799).
